From a half-ton pickup to a fleet of tractor-trailers, we handle trucks of all shapes and sizes. Trucking of any kind has it's own set of unique risks and exposures.
Non-Trucking Liability (NTL)
Sometimes referred to as "Bobtail" coverage, NTL is available to leased operators who haul under a motor carrier's authority who also provides the primary liability coverage. NTL provides liability coverage when the truck is being used for purposes outside the normal scope of the lease.
Primary Liability
Truckers or trucking companies who operate under their own authority are required to carry primary liability coverage on all owned units and either carry insurance on their leased vehicles or make sure the leased operator has their own. Generally, the motor carrier provides this coverage for their leased operators, although this is not always the case.
Cargo Insurance
Cargo insurance provides coverage for loss or damage to the property or product a truck is hauling. This is generally provided by the motor carrier for leased operators.
Physical Damage
This covers repair or replacement for damage from a covered loss to an owned vehicle. Coverage typically includes collision, fire, theft, hail, windstorm, earthquake, flood or vandalism.
Life, Health and Disability Income
If you are self-employed, only you can make certain your family's financial future is secure. Sickness, death or disability could be catastrophic to your finances, and could mean difficult times for you or your loved ones. With many carriers to choose from, we shop for the best value and help make sure your family will be financially worry-free should something happen to you.
