Coverage for flood is NOT included on a homeowners or commercial property policy. We can write a separate policy through the National Flood Insurance Program.

Tips to help reduce or prevent flood losses:
- Make sure your family is accounted for.
- Put together an "Emergency Plan" and review with family.
- Keep a battery powered radio with fresh batteries.
- Stay tuned to local news when bad weather strikes.
- Don't try to swim to safety - wait for help.
- If time permits, turn off all utilities.
- Move valuables to upper floors or higher ground.
- Secure or bring in any outdoor furniture or property.
